Bien que la chanteuse soit parti et remplacée par un chanteur, ce groupe à sortie une démo vraiment pleine d'énergie qui vaut le détour.

Originaire de Madrid en Espagne, Against the spirit est le nom du groupe formé par Merche (ex- The Band Apart), Diego (ex- Actitud de Rechazo et Proudz) Tino et Nando (ex- proudz) en 2007. La sonorité de Proudz ressort clairement et Merche donne une touche special au groupe. Durant les essais, Merche éclipsa tous les autres chanteurs, elle avait la rage, l'attitude et la force et la connexion était presque magique.

The spirits of the past, memories of better times, people that are missed, dreams of reaching unrealistic goals… Against the Spirits is not a name that was picked out of a hat, it represents the utmost desires of its members; a victory over their own inner demons. The day to face and beat them has arrived.
